Alexandra Demeo, M.A., BCBA, LABA

Clinical Director, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Randolph, Mass.

As a Clinical Director at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, Alex supervises a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Working together, they strive to assess challenging behavior and identify function-based treatments to reduce maladaptive behavior and increase alternative behaviors.

Alex began her career providing services in home-based settings and in a clinic setting at Momentum Behavior Health Services in Rhode Island. After earning her BCBA, Alex continued to provide home-based services for the Edinburg Center in Bedford, Mass., before accepting her current position at May Institute.

A Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA), Alex earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Salve Regina University, in Newport, R.I. She is currently pursuing a doctorate at Simmons University in Boston, focusing her research on the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior.
