Alexander Castillo, M.Ed., BCBA, LABA

Clinical Director, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Randolph, Mass.


At the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, Alexander oversees clinical programming in behavior analytic interventions for students ages 6-22. He leads a team of clinicians and BCBAs who focus on assessing and treating challenging behavior as well as increasing adaptive behaviors to improve independence and autonomy.

Alexander began his career in applied behavior analysis (ABA) as a Teacher Assistant at the May Center School in Randolph, and later took on the role of Lead Special Education Teacher in the school’s Intensive Behavioral Core. After he earned his Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, he became a Behavior Specialist and Lead Teacher at May’s Todd Fournier Center for Employment Training and Community Inclusion. In 2024, he re-joined the Intensive Behavior Core as the Clinical Director. 

Alexander received his master’s degree in Severe Special Education from Bridgewater State University, after which he completed Florida Institute of Technology's verified course sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis.

His primary interests include: the assessment and treatment of severe challenging behavior, promoting tolerance to delays to reinforcement, trauma-informed practices in ABA, skills-based treatment, and the generalization of behavior and skills across environments.
