Eileen G. Pollack, M.A.
Senior Vice President, Communications and Philanthropy

As a member of May Institute's executive leadership team, Eileen Pollack provides oversight of and strategic direction for the organization's comprehensive, integrated communications efforts including all print collateral, websites, traditional and social media, video, and other communications vehicles.

She also manages national fundraising efforts for May Institute and all its programs and centers. Her team’s responsibilities include annual and leadership giving, corporate and foundation relations, donor relations, strategic partnerships, and special events.

Ms. Pollack holds a joint appointment as Senior Vice President, Communications and Philanthropy, for the National Autism Center at May Institute.
 
She joined May Institute in 2003 to work on a national marketing initiative for the organization’s positive behavior support programming. These programs promote student achievement and social skills through training and consultation to school systems.
 
Ms. Pollack was instrumental in the strategic planning and launch of the National Autism Center, and maintains responsibility for the Center’s communications efforts. She orchestrated the international dissemination of the results of its National Standards Projects in 2009 and 2015, and serves as co-editor for the Center’s other publications, including resource manuals for parents and school systems.

She leads a team that has produced dozens of award-winning public awareness and marketing campaigns, and has placed thousands of stories, articles, and expert columns in national and regional media outlets.

Her previous work in the nonprofit sector includes 12 years of program development, management, and training in the HIV/AIDS field. She spent a year consulting with a project in Africa sponsored by the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Cultural Affairs. In that position, she led a team that provided technical assistance to grassroots AIDS organizations in Botswana, the country with the then-highest incidence rate of HIV in the world.
 
Ms. Pollack earned a master’s degree in Corporate and Political Communications from Fairfield University in Connecticut. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Publicity Club of New England, and the New England Society for Healthcare Communications.
