Crystal Kimmett, 2014 Trustees’ Fund Awardee

Coordinator of School Services
May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities
Randolph, Mass.

Crystal took over the position of Coordinator of School Services for the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph last year, and met the challenge of juggling the scheduling of many meetings and the enormous amount of paperwork involved in the development of Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) and re-evaluations.

She is responsible for coordination of morning run, staffing plan, training, and development, and the organization of staffing throughout the day. Crystal also organizes the Randolph school’s participation in the Rodman Ride, as well as all of the other staff motivational activities. Each one of these tasks could be considered a full-time job in and of itself, but Crystal has met the challenge with a positive frame of mind and accommodating personality.

Crystal has an outstanding commitment to quality. She is conscientious and always determined to do her best, no matter what endeavor she undertakes. She is a lifelong learner who takes on each new opportunity with vigor and enthusiasm. She is dedicated to self-improvement and to learning from each experience.

Crystal is an exemplary representative of the kind of committed May Center School employee who makes every day a pleasure to come to work!
