Teacher Trainee
The Bay School
Santa Cruz, Calif.

[Read press release here.]

Taylor started as an Instructor with The Bay School in August 2010. She was promoted to a Senior Instructor in July 2012, and to Teacher Trainee in June 2014.

Taylor has been an inspiration to those who know her and work with her. She is very attentive to her students and staff, often sought out for advice and instruction, and always makes herself available to answer questions. Taylor has a wonderful relationship with the students she serves, and often comes to the aid of others.

She is a true professional in all she does, and is often asked to step in and act as a substitute teacher in various Bay School classrooms. Taylor is someone you can count on — she maintains perfect attendance. In addition, she is currently taking classes at one of our local state universities to obtain her Moderate-Severe Teaching credential.

Taylor’s communication skills are outstanding. She was recently asked to help improve the interview process for hiring by coming up with some scenarios to ask candidates regarding real situations. She accepted this task with a smile, and has generated some wonderful scenarios for us to use.

Taylor is dependable, creative, and has excellent clinical skills. Her willingness to go above and beyond to help our students makes her an excellent candidate for this award, and we are proud to nominate her!
