Dr. Martin is an invaluable team member at May Institute. He wears several different hats and, in all his roles, he has excelled. Ryan served as project coordinator on a research project funded by the Department of Education. He oversaw training and supervision of project staff, and coordinated data from the project. He went above and beyond in his supervision of project staff, instilling in them a commitment to evidence-based practice and to high quality service.

Ryan was part of a team that traveled to Oman to provide training and consultation. He provided a series of workshops in Oman, and his training was well received by everyone in attendance. While there, I (Cynthia Anderson) became very ill and was unable to provide a full day of training. Ryan stepped up and literally saved the day. He was able to step in, get up to speed quickly on the training material, and deliver the training in my place. He reportedly did a fantastic job, which is no surprise.

Ryan is a skilled researcher, trainer, and clinician. What is equally impressive about Ryan, however, are his “soft skills.” He is kind to everyone he meets, organized, and thoughtful. He puts a bit extra into each and every thing he does, and working with him is a joy. I am incredibly lucky to get to work with and learn from him.
