Jedidah Kangethe

Administrative Assistant
May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders
Brockton, Mass.

Employee Spotlight Award Winner, June 2018

From Jedidah's nomination: Jedidah is the definition of what it means to be a part of a team. She is here every morning making sure that her staff have all the materials needed in order to have a successful day. She manages the school schedule and handles all the ups and downs of the day with a smile on her face. You will never not see her smiling with a positive attitude, which creates better morale here at Brockton. She helps out each classroom and puts herself into the rotation, even though she has a million other tasks to accomplish. Jedidah is such a wonderful person and great asset to all the staff here at the May, and we would be lost without her!

"Thank you to the ERA nomination committee for finding me worthy of the ERA Spotlight Award. It is truly an honor to be recognized from among many worthy and deserving colleagues. I have been with May Institute for 18+ years and in that time I have worked with a lot of dedicated employees who put our students' needs above their own and they go over and above to ensure those needs are met. I am lucky to call my colleagues, my friends, and this makes me look forward to coming to work each and every day and give my best even when there are challenges. This award means a lot to me and it inspires me to do even more to make my colleagues' days better and our students' days more meaningful. Like I always say, “Keep on smiling, J."
