Program Director
May Center for ABA Services
North Carolina

[Read press release.]

Dr. Hardy, the Program Director for North Carolina’s May Center for ABA Services, is an outstanding clinician, mentor, professional, and colleague.

Christina is dedicated, caring, and puts her staff and clients before herself. She is an exemplary supervisor, works tirelessly, and promotes a positive team culture in North Carolina. Despite ups and downs in the North Carolina offices, she takes care of anything that needs to be done, operationally and clinically. She is an extraordinary role model for her employees.

Recently, Hurricane Florence ripped through our Jacksonville and Wilmington locations, causing catastrophic damage. One staff member lost her home, and two others suffered significant damage to their homes. Power outages and flooding left many without access to adequate food. Some of our families were displaced and had to live in shared, cramped quarters. Despite personal adversity, Christina focused on her team, getting them the support they needed, and assisting struggling families to get the therapies they needed. Once flooding subsided, Christina drove between locations to ensure the offices were in workable condition. She and her Clinical Supervisor,
Camille, worked to ensure that the Jacksonville center was open for services as quickly as possible, and regularly cooked hot lunches for their team in that location. When a second storm ripped through in early October, Christina worked to keep the center open at the request of staff and families, who desperately needed hours (both work and therapy).

Christina is a supervisor who exemplifies the quality and positive impact that May Institute strives for in all programs. She started with us as a pre-doctoral intern, and has been a dedicated May employee for close to 10 years. Her staff adore her and look up to her.
