The award recognizes the exceptional contributions of May employees. Winners are nominated by their colleagues, managers, and supervisors from across the organization. 

From Charde's nomination: Charde is simply one of the most compassionate, competent, and reliable staff I’ve worked with in my 16 years with the May. She is a tireless champion and voice for the individuals in her care, as evidenced by the consistency with which they seek out her company. Whether implementing training and behavior programs, training and supporting staff, or arranging and effectuating creative community outings, Charde consistently goes the extra mile. As the clinician assigned to the caseload on her group home, she is my go-to staff any time I need action or information. Her presence is truly a valuable resource at her group home, and I wholeheartedly nominate her for recognition.
