Since joining the May School in Norwood in 2017, Becky has been an invaluable member of our team, consistently demonstrating dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to student success. She stepped into the role of Senior Teacher in 2021 and has become an essential part of the school’s leadership team, serving as a role model with her calm, confident, and positive demeanor. Her even-keeled attitude is not only contagious but also sets the tone for a supportive and collaborative working environment.

In the classroom, Becky shines as a thoughtful and intuitive educator. She takes the time to truly listen to her students, understanding their diverse needs, strengths, and preferences. Her teaching skillfully balances functional skills development with academic preparation, ensuring students are equipped for both life and academic achievement. 

Becky also excels in building strong relationships with families. She maintains regular communication with parents and caregivers, and her thoughtful, positive messaging—even during challenging times—serves as a model for others. Parents deeply value the support and guidance she provides, and it’s clear that Becky’s influence extends far beyond the classroom.
