Jenna Keaney
2017 Trustees' Fund Award Recipient

Speech and Language Pathology Assistant
May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities
Randolph, Mass.

Jenna Keaney demonstrates passion, hard work, and a positive attitude every day. She has worked at the school for four years. In that time, she has never called in and is incredibly punctual. She started in the classroom in an Assistant Teacher and became a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant after one year.

Jenna demonstrates excellence in her job performance. She completes every task with care and pride. She runs group sessions, conducts classroom consults, and designs and creates high-quality communication support materials.

If you ask any staff member who works with Jenna what they think of her, they will say that she is always willing to help and that she has a smile on her face every day. Jenna cares about our students and our staff, and proves it every day. If someone needs code coverage or help with an activity that will benefit a student, Jenna is the first person to volunteer.

In addition to her day-to-day duties, Jenna goes above and beyond by supporting our staff’s health needs. Jenna is a certified Pound (a drum-based fitness workout) teacher, and she is currently pursuing her Personal Trainer license. She runs weekly exercise sessions for our staff for free. This builds morale and camaraderie as well as promoting good health.

Jenna represents the best that May Institute has to offer, and is very deserving of a Trustees’ Fund Award.
