Marcie W. Handler, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is Senior Clinical Director, Consultation Division, PBIS Technical Assistance at May Institute. She has provided behavioral consultation in the areas of system-wide, classroom, and individual positive behavior support practices for 20 years with school personnel, parents, and psychologists. She also has expertise in the areas of applied behavioral analysis and childhood behavior disorders.

Dr. Handler is a board certified behavior analyst, licensed psychologist, and a certified health provider. She is a supervisor for May Institute's pre-doctoral internship program and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University in Massachusetts. She provides clinical training and supervision to staff across consultation services who support individuals with highly complex social, emotional, and psychiatric disorders. 

Dr. Handler earned her Ph.D. in school psychology from Lehigh University. During her doctoral training, she was awarded both teaching and research assistantships. In addition to workshops for school personnel and parents, Dr. Handler has provided numerous presentations at national and local conferences, authored articles, and written a book chapter. Her peer-reviewed articles have appeared in School Psychology Review, Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and The Behavior Analyst Today.
