Alison Finitzer, M.S.Ed., BCBA
Director of Clinical Services, May Center for ABA Services


Ms. Finitzer is the Clinical Director of the May Center for ABA Services in Santa Cruz, Calif. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she holds a California Educational Specialist credential in moderate/severe disabilities.
 
Ms. Finitzer has worked with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities since 2007 in a variety of capacities. She joined May Institute in 2012 as an Educational Consultant in the Eastern Massachusetts Consultation division where she provided home- and community-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) to families and school districts in Massachusetts.
 
In 2013, she moved to Santa Cruz, Calif., where she joined The Bay School team as the Assistant Director of Education, overseeing clinical and educational programming as well as staff training and supervision. The Bay School is one of May Institute’s four May Center Schools for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
 
Prior to joining May Institute, Ms. Finitzer worked as a Behavior Analyst and Special Education teacher providing school, center, and home-based ABA therapy including assessment, treatment planning, parent training, and staff training and supervision. 
 
Ms. Finitzer graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Mass., with a Master of Science in Education. She completed her BCBA coursework through Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. She is a member of the California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA), Association for Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA), and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
