May Institute is an active center of research and training, maintaining affiliations with more than 55 universities, hospitals, and human service agencies worldwide. Our professionals have published hundreds of articles and book chapters, and frequently present at national conferences and workshops. We are dedicated to improving clinical understanding and creating new learning opportunities.
The Institute benefits from one of the greatest pools of expertise of any organization of our kind. Our staff and advisory board include world-renowned experts in fields ranging from autism to brain injury to behavioral healthcare. Our leadership team and program directors include licensed and, in many cases, board certified psychologists and psychiatrists. They provide ongoing supervision and training and offer an invaluable resource for new program development.
Our ongoing system of comprehensive training and professional development extends to all our staff, ensuring a continuity of consistent, highly effective care. In addition, we offer employees a wide range of graduate degree and certificate programs and continuing education opportunities. We also provide continuing professional education for psychologists, social workers, training for educators, and workshops and seminars for families.
May Institute is accredited by the American Psychological Association to provide continuing education for psychologists and predoctoral internship training. Our predoctoral internships in clinical psychology and postdoctoral fellowships allow individuals with advanced professional education to obtain clinical and research experience in service delivery.
