Consultation / Overview
May Institute offers a wide variety of home and school-based consultation services to public schools, educational collaboratives, private agencies, families, and individuals. Our consultants work with school staff and family members to coordinate and enhance educational and behavioral services for children and adolescents ages 3 to 22 with:
Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
School adjustment and behavior disorders
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Acquired brain injury and neurological disorders
In addition to consultation services, we also offer workshops and training for special and regular education teachers and aides, student support personnel, and administrators.
As a national leader in the field of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) services, we help schools and districts implement strategies to encourage positive behavior and reduce disruptive behavior and improved academic engagement.
Our SPEAK program is a child abuse prevention initiative designed to educate youngsters about abuse.
