The Therapeutic After-School Program (TAP) is a clinical program designed to meet the needs of high-risk children between the ages of 8 and 13 and to promote stabilization and re-integration into the community. A high staff-to-child ratio (2:1) ensures individualized support and guidance. The program provides support in the following areas:
Therapeutic After-School Programs are available through the May Counseling Center in West Roxbury and through Children's Connections in New Bedford, Mass. A Massachusetts Department of Mental Health referral is necessary.
