May Foundation
Mission
The mission of the May Foundation is to help children and adults with learning, behavioral, psychological, and special healthcare challenges in keeping with the values and vision of the May Institute. Through its work, the Foundation supports May Institute's commitment to understand each person's unique needs and to find the most effective means to help individuals reach their potential in life.
To achieve this, the Foundation:
- Strengthens the programs, facilities, and staff of the May Institute
through the support of philanthropically minded individuals and
organizations.
- Builds a permanent endowment for the May Institute, sustaining
its work for years to come.
- Provides a broad range of giving opportunities and vehicles
to meet donor interests.
- Assesses the need for resources and responds with leadership
to bring these resources to bear upon the Institute’s strategic
goals and objectives.
- Shares information about its activities and philanthropic achievements
with friends and supporters in the local, regional, and national
community.
Board of Directors
The members of the board of directors of the May Foundation are dedicated
individuals who care deeply about the values and mission of the May
Institute. These individuals have committed themselves to guiding
and leading the Foundation as it grows and develops in the years ahead.
