Shannon Kay, Ph.D., BCBA
Director, May Center for Child Development

Shannon Kay, Ph.D., BCBA, is the Director of the May Center for Child Development in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The May Center is a full-time, year-round school for children ages 5 to 12 with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Dr. Kay received her master’s degree in psychology at Connecticut College and her doctorate in school psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her primary research interests include verbal behavior in children with autism, training parents of children with autism, and phonemic awareness.
