James Millins, B.S., B.A.
Chief, Facilities Management
Mr. Millins joined May Institute in 1996 and has more than 20 years of experience in facilities management. He is responsible for the maintenance of the Institute’s nearly 200 service locations, acquisition of new properties, maintaining a fleet of 300 vehicles, and managing the corporate purchasing system. At May Institute, Mr. Millins has successfully completed 4 HUD811 projects. In 2005, he oversaw the renovation of an 81,600-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Randolph, Mass., and coordinated the relocation of May Institute’s corporate headquarters, two May schools for students with autism, and the National Autism Center sm to this site.
Mr. Millins holds an unrestricted builder’s license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a member of the International Facilities Managers Association (IFMA) and a candidate for certification in facilities management from that organization. He has bachelors’ degrees in criminal law and public administration from Boston State College (UMASS).
