James K. Luiselli, Ed.D., ABPP, BCBA
Senior Vice President, Applied Research and Peer Review


James K. Luiselli, Ed.D., is a clinical psychologist and the Senior Vice President of Applied Research at the May Institute. Recognized by professional associations as one of the nation's most influential clinicians in child behavior disorders, autism, and severe special needs, he is active in clinical treatment, consultation, and research.

Dr. Luiselli is a licensed psychologist, certified health service provider, a Diplomate in behavioral psychology certified by The American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), and a board certified behavior analyst. He is on the faculty of Northeastern University and is a member of the Medical/Dental staff at Franciscan Children's Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. Within the May Institute, he serves on the core faculty of the pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship training program.

A graduate of Boston University, Dr. Luiselli is ranked among the top 50 most published authors in behavior analysis and therapy literature. He has authored more than 180 publications including the books: Behavioral Medicine and Developmental Disabilities (1989); Self-Injurious Behavior: Analysis, Assessment, and Treatment (1992); Antecedent Control: Innovative Approaches to Behavioral Support (1998); and Behavior Psychology in the Schools: Innovations in Evaluation, Support, and Consultation (2002).
